    • How many cities are covered in Trakker NAV?

      Maps for more than 120 cities all over Pakistan are covered which are constantly increasing with our active geographical surveys.

    • Will it work on highways?

      Yes, Trakker NAV covers all the highways of Pakistan; hence you can use it for intercity travelling.

    • Can I find any house address in Pakistan?

      Currently housing data for well documented housing schemes in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Multan and Faisalabad is available in Trakker NAV, we are constantly including new area and cities to our maps which will be available in future map updates.

    • In which cities does the address search work?

      Currently major areas of Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Multan and Faisalabad are covered.

    • I can use Google Earth, why should I use Trakker NAV?

      Google earth is "mapping software", not Navigation software. It does not always provide authentic information, coordinate accuracy, house address level search and turn by turn voice Navigation.

    • Can I have the voice prompts in Urdu or my regional language for Navigation?

      Trakker NAV will soon be available with Urdu voice prompts. Regional languages are not available currently and may be added in future.

    • Does Trakker NAV provide lane assistance?

      Currently our team is working on this option, it will be available soon.

    • Will I get traffic updates on my Navigation/ Trakker NAV?

      Currently this option is not supported in Pakistan.

    • The route shown on map is blocked/ there is no such road/ the road is too narrow? How do I find another way?

      You may move in a direction where the road is open, the system will recalculate an alternate route for you.

  • Software

    • Is this licensed software?

      Yes, this is licensed software and is intended to be used only on the device for which it is purchased.

    • Can I get landmark and point of interest names in Urdu/ regional language?

      No, currently the maps are only available in English language.

    • How can I find my house address on map?

      You cannot view house addresses on the map, to search any house address, go to Main Menu -> Navigate to… and search the required address.

    • What is dialogue box?

      It is the information pop-up on your screen.

    • What is ETA?

      It means Estimated Time of Arrival, the time by which you would reach your destination.

    • How to delete or cancel last route created?

      Go to main menu, enter the route menu, and click on the cancel route.

    • Can I store my office/ any location for future access?

      Yes, you can save your favorite locations for easy future access. After you have created a route you can add it to favorite.

    • If the software gets corrupted / my software got corrupted / it was working fine but now it is not working properly, can I get it replaced / reinstalled?

      Yes, please visit our branch office to get it refreshed.

    • How will I get free updates? / From where can I get free updates?

      For 3D Users: Please visit Trakker NAV help desk at your nearest Toyota 3S dealership.
      For 2D Users: You can download the software updates from our "Downloads" section, or you may visit our regional offices to get your
      software updated.

    • What is share?

      The share option allows you to share your current location with your friends via Facebook, Twitter, email or message. This option requires internet enabled device and an active internet connection.

  • Hardware

    • Can you track my vehicle with this device?

      No, this is navigation software and it has nothing to do with vehicle tracking, nor it is interlinked with our C-Track tracking device.

    • My Tracking device is not working properly is it due to Navigation?

      No, Tracking device and Navigation device are different hardware and have no inter-connection.

    • I got a false battery temper alarm, is it due to Navigation?

      No, Navigation has nothing to do with battery terminals.

    • My vehicle has built in Japanese Navigation System installed, can I run your software on it?

      No, Trakker NAV software runs on Windows C.E 5 and C.E 6 Devices, if your device is Windows based our software will run on it.

    • I have a Garmin Navigation device, can I run Trakker NAV on it?

      Trakker NAV is not supported by Garmin devices.

    • Does Trakker NAV come built in with Honda Civic?

      No, our software does not come with the factory fitted Navigation Unit in Honda. It is available separately for purchase.

    • Can I use Trakker NAV in my Factory fitted Navigation Device of my Honda Civic?

      Yes, you can run Trakker NAV 2D Navigation on your device.

    • Can I watch DVD on the Navigation device?

      While driving you cannot watch a video or play DVD to ensure the safety of the driver and passengers.

    • Can I connect my USB, iPhone/iPod to the Navigation Device?

      Yes, it runs CDs DVDs, Mp3 and supports USB and iPhone/iPod.

    • Can I use Trakker NAV in the default Japanese unit in my imported vehicle (With Japanese menu and maps)?

      No

    • What is TF card?

      It stands for Trans Flash card which is a removable flash memory card.

    • What other functionalities do I get with the in-dash Navigation device?

      The in-dash Navigation device has CD, DVD, Mp3 player, and reverse camera compatibility, blue tooth connectivity for mobile phones, radio and option to connect external audio sources.

  • Mobile Application

    • Do I have to re-buy Trakker NAV app in case I change my iPhone/iPad?

      All iPhone purchases are stored against apple ID which is unique for every account; therefore the user can always transfer the purchased
      app to new Apple device.

    • I am selling my mobile and I do not want the new owner to use my App.

      Simply delete the app from the mobile before selling.

    • Are there any differences in the features between mobile app and in-dash car navigation?

      Mobile app has more features, since the mobile devices are internet enables so they have option to share location and status on
      social media and download images for POIs, also they offer weather update. But usually the GPS module on phone is not as strong as
      in-dash device and the application drains the battery pretty quickly, hence in car devices are better suited for Navigation purpose.

    • Is there any difference between iPhone app and iPad app?

      No

    • My iPad is showing "No GPS Signal"?

      iPad needs to be connected to WiFi to calculate your exact location and navigation.

    • My iPhone 3G shows a lag while running the app.

      3G has mobile grade GPS antenna which is not suited for car navigation.

    • How many payment modes are available? Is it necessary to pay through credit card?

      Currently only credit card payment is available, in near future we will introduce scratch card vouchers for online app purchase for
      Android users.

    • When will Trakker NAV be available on Symbian mobiles and Blackberry?

      For BB it will be available in the second quarter of 2012, we do not plan to facilitate Symbian users.

    • When Nokia E series mobiles (smartphones) and Blackberry share several things (apps, messages etc.) then why can't our apps be shared like that?

      We have to make changes to the application to make it run on each OS, hence is it not possible to make the app available for each mobile
      device.

    • If I download Trakker NAV (Sygic and Trakker NAV Pakistan) app can it be used in other countries? Or install maps for other countries on the same application.

      For each country's map, a new application has to be installed, due to localization to the Sygic app. Trakker NAV only owns the Pakistan maps.

    • If I don't follow the route it takes a long time before it realizes I'm not on route anymore. Instead of rerouting it just loses GPS signal?

      Mobile devices do not have a strong GPS unit, for car navigation please use a professional in car, navigation device.

    • On which mobile devices can I run this application?

      Trakker NAV app is available currently for iOS devices (iPhone, iPad) and Android based devices.

    • Can I have Trakker NAV on my mobile?

      Yes, Trakker NAV is available for iPhone and Android phones, such as Samsung, SonyEricsson, HTC, LG, Motorola via App Store and
      Android Market Place respectively.

    • Can I run the Trakker NAV mobile App on my BlackBerry / Nokia /Symbian phone/ Chinese Phone/ Non-Smart phone?

      No, currently Trakker NAV is available only for iPhone and Android Devices.

    • How can I update my maps on my iPhone?

      Whenever an update is available, you will be notified via App Store to download and install the latest update, all updates for Mobile App
      are free.

    • I cannot see any 3D land marks on my mobile app?

      You need to purchase the 3D maps from within the application, via option My Sygic. After the download and installation is complete you
      can view 3D land marks.

    • How much does this in app purchase of 3D landmarks costs?

      3D landmarks for iOS devices are available for 99 cents via in-app purchase option of Trakker NAV already installed on your mobile device.

    • I am not getting GPS signals on my mobile device?

      Please ensure your device is under the open sky and your GPS module is turned on, for instructions please refer to the user manual.

    • Do I have to renew my license or re-purchase after some time?

      No, this is a onetime cost and you will not be charged for the updates for mobile Application.

    • How will I use Trakker NAV?

      Trakker NAV is supported by Windows CE 5 and Windows CE 6 devices which are easily available in the market. It is also available for
      Android based smart phones and Portable Navigation Device (PND)

    • In which car can we install Trakker NAV?

      Trakker NAV can be installed in cars with double din/ 2 din space in the dashboard. For following cars special units to fit the dashboard
      are available which can run Trakker NAV.

  • Software Support

    • I lost my SD / Micro SD Card can I get a replacement?

      Each SD Card has a unique license; in case of losing the SD Card you have to re purchase software.

      For Toyota 3D Users:
      Please visit Trakker NAV help desk at your nearest Toyota 3S dealership to get a replacement.

      For 2D Users:
      Please visit our branch office in nearest to you for a replacement.

    • How can I get map Updates?

      Updates are free for the first year, after which you have to pay 2000 for the map update.

    • When will I get map updates?

      Trakker NAV will release map update after every 6 months.

    • Are the map updates free?

      For the first year after purchase you are entitled to free updates for 1 year, we release an update after every 6 months. After 1 year you may
      choose to purchase an update for a fee of 2000 PKR.

  • Trouble Shooting

    • My Trakker NAV/Navigation is not working!

      Please ensure you have the following points covered
      • The map SD card is inserted into the "Maps" slot
      • The software path for Trakker NAV software is properly configured
      • The software is activated
      • Device is getting valid GPS signals

    • My software hangs frequently and is not working smoothly.

      Please reset the device, by pressing the reset button on the top left side of the Navigation device with a pin and re-run your navigation
      software.

    • I have bought a Trakker NAV card from Authorized retailer but it is not working on my Navigation Device?

      Please ensure you have provided the software path to the Navigation System after inserting the SD Card/ Micro SD Card in the "maps" slot,
      if the card is inserted in the SD Card slot and not the map slot, the Device will not be able to read the map card and will show nothing
      while searching for the software path.

    • How do I set my Trakker NAV path?

      • Go into the setting of your Navigation device,
      • Tap on the GPS setting and search for the software path.
      • The software is placed with in the folder hierarchy: "Aura/Windows CE", by the name of Aura.exe.
      • Select the file and exit the setting,
      • Go to the main menu and tap on the GPS/Navigation.

    • When I start the GPS/Navigation the device says software is not activated, what should I do?

      For Trakker NAV 3D:
      Please visit Trakker NAV help desk at a Toyota 3S dealership near you.
      For Trakker NAV 2D:
      Please visit our branch offices for the software activation.

    • I cannot get valid GPS signals?

      Please move your vehicle to an open to sky location, where the GPS module can catch satellite signals easily. Please ensure there are no
      tall buildings, high tension cables, roof and tress above the vehicle which might obscure the signals.

    • I cannot see anything in 3D?

      Sir/ Madam, not all buildings and land marks are available in 3D; you will be able to see a 3D landmark only if one is available near your
      current location, I will still guide you through the hardware setting to ensure they are correct.
      • Please click the bottom right corner to enter the main menu and go to settings, which is the second last option,
      • Select map view, the second option under settings.
      • Now go to the map view options and make sure 3D view is selected.

    • I cannot connect my mobile via Bluetooth/ how do I connect my mobile via Bluetooth to navigation device?

      Please enter the Bluetooth menu from the main menu on your navigation device, now search for Bluetooth enabled devices on your
      mobile phone, once you have detected the in-car navigation device, which will be represented by a name such as "CE-…….." pair the device
      with your mobile phone, and enter the following code when prompted.
      For Toyota: 000 / 4444 / 8888
      For Civic: 1234 /0000/ 4444 /8888
      (Try each combination one by one if the first does not work)

    • The navigation takes me through a very long route, although there is a shorter route via galis/sub-roads/streets.

      The default route calculation method is fastest route, which depending upon the speed limit of main roads calculates the route through
      which you can travel fastest and reach the destination, if you prefer shorter route you can change the setting as per your preferences.

      To change route calculation
      Go to main menu > Settings > Route Planning > Route computing
      Select: Fastest Route/ Shortest Route/ Economic Route

    • For how much can I get Trakker NAV software? And where?

      For Toyota Customers:
      Trakker NAV 3D is only available with Toyota through Indus Motor Company.
      For Non-3S Customer:
      Trakker NAV 2D is available from our branches and car audio entertainment shops.

    • What is the warranty period for the SD Card?

      The SD card is covered under 2 year warranty provided the SD card is not broken, damaged or lost.
